Casino – The New Goodfellas

Casino

A casino is a place where champagne glasses clink, and both tourists and locals mingle, creating an incredible buzz. It is also a place where people try their luck at games like poker, roulette and blackjack. This combination of socializing and gambling creates a thrilling atmosphere that can be hard to find elsewhere.

This is why casinos are so popular. They can be a great source of entertainment for anyone, even if they don’t want to gamble. Besides offering plenty of places to eat and drink, casinos also feature stage shows and dramatic scenery. The energy in a casino is unmistakable, and it can be quite addictive.

The thrill of the unknown is another reason why people enjoy casino games. There’s always something new to see, and you never know when your luck will change. There are a variety of different games to choose from, so you can find one that suits your skill level and interests.

Robert De Niro stars as Sam “Ace” Rothstein, a mobster who runs the Tangiers Casino in Las Vegas. The film opens with a prowling Steadicam infiltrating the casino’s money counting room, an early sequence that deliberately echoes Goodfellas’ Copacabana interlude. It is here that we see the inner circle of shady operators, a world where skimming off the till is as common as a rigged wheel. While Casino may rely on some of the same elements as its predecessor, it is a far more focused and ambitious effort that is just as riveting.
